REEL DE SOREL [1]. AKA and see "Isidore's Reel," "Reel des noces d'or," "Reel de la mobilisation." French-Canadian, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is usually known in the tradition by the first alternate title. Burlington, Vermont, fiddler Louis Beaudoin (1921-1980) recorded the tune as "Isidore's Reel" on his 1973 recording (Philo 73-750195).
