REEL DE LA SEIGNEURIE. French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). AA'BB'. "Reel de la seigneurie" is from the repertoire of fiddlerAimé Gagnon (1921-1997), of Saint-Louis de Lotbinière. A seigneurie originally referred to a medieval fiefdom, but in Quebec referred to lands and estates granted to a seigneur, or French noble. Gagnon's title probably refers to his home area of Lotbinière, named after wikipedia:René-Louis Chartier de Lotbinière, who was granted the seigneury of Lotbinière in 1672.
