REEL DES GAGNON. AKA - "Air Adrien Saint-Hilaire." French-Canadian, Reel. C Lydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The fourth of the scale is sharp, placing this tune in the Lydian mode. The tune is sourced to musician Adrien St-Hilaire, according to the liner notes on Claude Méthé's 1997 collection of recordings by Aimé Gagnon, although it was popularized through the playing of Gagnon.
