ROLL HER ON THE HILL. AKA and see "Rolling down the Hill (1)," "Galway Reel (5) (The)," “Roll Her on the Mountain.” Scottish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Francis O'Neill printed the tune as "Roll Her on the Mountain" in his Music of Ireland (1903). Kerr also printed a version of the reel as "Galway Reel (5) (The)" in his Merry Melodies collections. The tune is related to the more famous “Rolling on the Ryegrass.”
