ROSE LAWN QUADRILLE, THE. American, Quadrille. USA, Nebraska. The tune was recorded by collector R.P. Christeson from the playing of Burt County, Nebraska, fiddler Bob Walters (1889-1960), and was issued on the recording "Old-Time Fiddler's Repertory: Historic Field Recordings of Forty-one Traditional Tunes." The recording accompanies the book Old-Time Fiddler's Repertory (1973), although "Rose Lawn Quadrille" is not one of the tune Christeson transcribed in it.
