ROSS'S REEL NO. 1. AKA- "Ross' Reel No. 1." American, Reel (cut time). USA, New England. B Flat Major ('A' part) & F Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Hébert notes: "Traditional, as played by Alvah Batchelder, 1936." Batchelder was a fiddler from Maine who had a dance band in the first half of the 20th century.
