"Rothiemrchus" was published in 1820/21 Collection of Strathspeys, Reels, Jigs &c. by Elgin fiddler-composer biography:Donald Grant. Grant purports his is the "Original Set", meaning (we presume) the original setting of "Rothiemurchus Rant" which is similar. However, there are enough differences between Grant's "original" setting and other settings of "Rothiemurchus Rant" to warrant a separate entry.
