ROULE TA BOSSE. AKA - "Little Hunchback," "Role ta bosse, p'tit Bossu". French-Canadian, Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. "Roule ta Bosse", a traditional tune, was in the repertory of fiddler [[biography:Fidel Martin|]] of Berlin, New Hampshire, who was born and raised in a musical family in Rogerstown, New Brunswick, near Miramichi. He was recorded in the field playing the tune in 1966 by music researcher Art Rosenbaum, and translated the French title for Art as "roll your hump" or "Little Hunchback". Peter Corfield (2024) identifies the tune as a variant of "Uncle Jim."
