RUNAWAY [3], THE. English, Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Collector Frank Kidson noted "The Runaway [3]" is from a musician's manuscript collection of about 1825. He also stated that it is different from a dance with this title that appears in dance books at the commencement of the (19th) century.
