RYAN MEETS CONNOLLY. Irish, Reel. Composed by the late fiddler Sean Ryan, who visited another fiddler, Seamus Connolly, at his home in Limerick in the early 1970's. During the visit Ryan recorded several of his compositions for Connolly, who asked for the title of this reel; Ryan replied "Janie, sure I've no name for it, why don't we call it 'Ryan Meets Connolly.'"
