SALLY IN THE GARDEN [4]. American, Reel. A Minor/Mixolydian. ADae or GDGD tuning (fiddle). AB. This "Sally in the Garden" tune was in the repertoire of Pineville, Bell County, south-eastern Kentucky, fiddler Estill Bingham (1899-1990). The "Sally in the Garden (1)" melody is barely recognizable in Bingham's version, identified only by the first and fifth measures of the first strain.
