SCAFFIES CAIRT. Scottish, Jig (6/8 time). A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Aberdeen policeman and musician Charles F. "Charlie" Sherrit, who published several collections of his compositions. Scaffies refers to a dustman, or garbage collector; 'cart' is a cart.
