SET AMÉRICAIN, 3ÈME PARTIE. French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. A reel recorded by Montreal music shop owner and fiddler, J.O. Albert LaMadeleine (1880-1973), who recorded prolifically in the 78 RPM era. "Set américain, 3ème partie" was recorded in 1929 and released in November of that year by Victor Records. LaMadeleine is backed by a tenor banjo, chording, and a bombarde, or jew's harp.
