SHANVAGHERA. Irish, Reel. D Mixolydian/Major (cut time). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by County Cavan/Philadelphia fiddler and composer Ed Reavy (1898-1988). Ed’s son Joe Reavy states the tune was named after Brigid’s school in County Mayo.
