SHEPHERD BOY, THE. American, March (2/4 time). USA, southwestern Pa. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Bayard's note for the tune reads: "A Monessen (Pa.) Band tune", referring to a martial (fife?) band from southwestern Pennsylvania. He was unable to trace this tune of unknown origin.
