SHROPSHIRE ROUNDS. English, Triple Hornpipe (3/2 or 3/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The tune appears in the Second Volume of the Dancing Master, all four editions (1710-1728), and Walsh's Compleat Country Dancing Master (1719), dating it at least to the early 18th century.
