Source for notated version: - Chicago fiddler Edward Cronin, a weaver, machinist and sometimes journalist originally from County Tipperary. Cronin was a storehouse of tunes and one of O’Neill’s primary informants; a man who boasted he never forgave nor forgot an injury [O’Neill].
