SLÁINTE ON gCUPAN (Health from the cup). Irish, Air (2/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. The Irish collector Edward Bunting printed this pentachordal air (the 6th and 7th tones are missing) in his 1809 and 1840 volumes.

Additional notes

Source for notated version: - the index to Bunting's 1840 collection gives that he received the melody from Richard Kirwan of Cregg in 1792 and notes "The quaintness and brevity of the air and the fact of its consisting of only one part, are strong arguments of a high degree of antiquity."
