SNOWY PATH, THE. Irish, Slip Jig (9/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. The tune was composed by guitarist Mark Kelly of the group Altan and dedicated to Dublin whistle player Donncha O’Brien. The late Mr. O’Brien was confined to a wheelchair for much of his life, a fact that diminished his music not in the least. Kelly played on O’Brien’s CD.
