SPOTTED BITCH. English, Hornpipe. G Major (Dixon): A Major (Moore). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A composition of Tyneside publican, fiddler and composer James Hill (c. 1811-1853). The melody appears in the music manuscript book of Tyneside musician John W. Moore, begun in the year 1841.
