STARR LABEL REEL. Canadian, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title comes from Starr Records, a 78 RPM era recording company owned by the Starr Piano Company of Richmond, Indiana (who also owned Gennett Records). Starr Records was based in Montreal and recorded many French-Canadian musicians in the 1920's.
