STORMONT BRAES, THE. Scottish, Strathspey (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. There was a Stormont Castle in Perthshire, about 2 miles south of Blairgowrie located on an island in Stormont Loch. It was demolished in 1843.
