The tune appears as an untitled polka from the 1796-1818 MS collection of William Aylmore, a clarinettist from West Wittering, Susses, and later included in the Welch family (Bosham, Sussex) MS, printed in Vic Gammon's Sussex Tune Book (No. 52).
