TALK TO DINAH. AKA - "Who's Gonna Talk to Dinah?" American, Reel (cut time). USA, Missiouri. A Major. Standard or AEae tuning (fiddle). AABB. According to Missouri fiddler Pete McMahon (Bluffton, Montgomery County, Mo.), sources Searns and Jackson (Franklin County, central Mo.) were the only fiddlers to originally play this tune (Howard Marshall). “Talk to Dinah” is now one of the '100 essential Missouri fiddle tunes' according to Missouri fiddler Charlie Walden.
