TAYLOR BROWN. American, Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The source for "Taylor Brown" was fiddler and guitar player Bill Mustain (1922-2000), who was born in Hartsburg, Mo. in 1922 and started playing fiddle at the age of seven. Later he lived in Camdenton, Missouri, and spent the last thirty years of his life at Mountain Home, Arkansas. He had several business ventures (the “Fish and Fiddle Shop” was one), and founded the band Bill Mustain and the Ridge Runners.
