TELL HER LIES AND FEED HER CANDY [1]. AKA - "Feed Her Candy." American, Reel. USA, Kentucky. A Major. Standard or AEae tunings (fiddle). AB (Silberberg): AABB (Songer). The tune was recorded in the field from Barren County, Kentucky, fiddler Sammy Walker. Kerry Blech later remarked that Songer and Curly’s version has the order of the parts (as well as the title) reversed from the one he learned from the Walker tape.
