TENNESSEE WALTZ [2]. American, Waltz (3/4 time). wikipedia:Tennessee Waltz was hit tune in 1950 for Country and Western stylist Patti Page and now the quintessential country music waltz. The melody has been credited to Pee Wee King, with help from fiddler Tiny “Redd” Stewart[1], composed in January, 1946, and released in 1948.
