TIT FOR TAT [3]. English, Jig and Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Tit for Tat was the name of a three act comedy performed as an afterpiece at the Haymarket Theatre, London, in the 1787 season, also staged at Drury lane and Covent garden.
