TOE REID. Scottish, Hornpipe (4/4 time). Scotland, Orkney Islands. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. "Toe Reid" was composed by self-taught fiddler James Johnstone (1904-1948, Mirland, Deerness parish, Orkney), in honor of a childhood friend from the neighboring farm of Braebister (Martin).
