TOM DEERING'S RAMBLES. American, Reel (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Tom Deering's Rambles" credited to Edwin Christie in Ryan’s Mammoth Collection (1883). This is not the Edwin Pierce Christy (1815-1862) of blackface minstrel fame, however, rather it was a journeyman composer of light music from Boston by the name of Edwin P. Christie.
