Source for notated version : - flute player Pat Meehan (b. 1960, Killaraght area of south Sligo [Flaherty]; “from my mother” [Mulvihill]; fiddler Nellie Kennedy (Chicago) whose brother, fiddler James Kennedy also contributed to O’Neill’s collection, and whose father was a County Leitrim fiddler of local renown from whom she learned this tune [O’Neill]; set dance music recorded at Na Píobairí Uilleann, mid-1980’s [Taylor]; New Jersey flute player Mike Rafferty, born in Ballinakill, Co. Galway, in 1926 [Harker].
