TRI MANNER TON (Three Half Tunes). Welsh, Gig [sic] (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. The tune comes from Edward Jones' "Relics of the Welsh Bards" (1784, p. 43). A 'gig', so called in Wales, is a dotted rhythm in 2/4, with the feel of 6/8 time.
