TRIP TO KILLARNEY. Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. Jerry O’Sullivan suggests the piece may be a composition of O’Farrell’s, and that he has no doubts it was composed by an uilleann piper. Canon James Goodman entered an identical version to O'Farrell's in vol. 2 (p. 34) of his large mid-19th century music manuscript. See also the related “Tumble the Tinker.”
