TRIP TO TORONTO. Canadian, Jig (6/8 time). Canada, Cape Breton. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A popular Cape Breton jig composed by fiddler Donald Angus Beaton (1912-1982). Winston Fitzgerald (1914-1987) always played this tune in a medley with Dan Hughie MacEachern’s “Juanita.”
