TRIPPING AT THE TRUCKSTOP. Irish, Polka (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Falmouth, Massachusetts, musician and writer Bill Black in memory of the time the bus full of musicians and dancers broke down on the way to the Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann North American Convention in Syracuse, N.Y., 1993. While waiting for another vehicle they decided not to waste time and began dancing in the parking lot.
