VALSE À TOLAN (Tolan Waltz). Cajun, Waltz. USA, southwestern Louisiana. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB(Vocal)AABBAABB(Vocal)AABB. The song was named for a bartender in Eunice, Louisiana. The song "Pocheville," recorded by accordionist Joseph Falcon in the 1920's, is a mixture of "Tolan Waltz" in the turn ('B' part) and "Valse des Grands Bois (1)" for the vocal.
