WALMER CASTLE. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABA. The tune dates to 1801. Built during the reign of King Henry VIII as part of England's eastern coastal defenses, Walmer Castle  was converted over the years to a country house and gardens.
