WASHINGTON COUNTY. AKA and see “Washington and Lee Swing (2)." Bluegrass, March (cut time). USA. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part (Phillips): AB (Brody). A bluegrass double-stop show-piece “composed” by bluegrass fiddler Kenny Baker [1], although it apparently is based on “Washington and Lee Swing.” Baker was Bill Monroe’s fiddler with the Bluegrass Boys for twenty years.
