WEDDING WALTZ [2]. American, Waltz. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed in 1994 by fiddler George Wilson (Wynantskill, N.Y.) for his own wedding ceremony: "I was listening to some Bach on the radio being played on old instruments, and I had my fiddle tuned down, and one thing sort of led to another" (Matthiesen).
