WEST VIRGINIA RAG. Old Time, Breakdown. A tune called "West Virginia Rag" was recorded for OKeh Records by Logan, West Virginia, native Frank Hutchison [1] (1891-1945) in 1927. Hutchison's tune, played on guitar, is an instrumental version of another Hutchison song, "Coney Isle."
