WHISTLING FARMER, THE. Canadian, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is listed as "Traditional" in the publications of Canadian radio and TV fiddler Don Messer [1] (1909-1973). Compare the chromaticism in the second strain with the Quebec tune "Sou Marine."
