WILD IRISHMAN [7]. AKA and see “O'Rourke's,” "Pride of Ballymote," "Sligo Chorus (The).” Irish, Reel. A Mixolydian. The reel was mistakenly labelled “O’Rourke’s” on Michael Coleman's 1936 78 RPM recording, leading generations of fiddlers to learn it under that title. The real name is “Wild Irishman", for Decca Records erroneously switched the titles on the record label. See "Wild Irishman (3) (The)" for the second tune of Coleman's medley.
