WILL MY LOVE BE TRUE? (A m-beid mo gaolac fior?). AKA and see: "I Miltown a Cúala Mé an Ceól" (In Milltown I Heard the Music). Irish, Air (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Fr. John Quinn finds that George Petrie collected four versions of this tune, three in 9/8 time and one in 6/8 time, two of which are presented under the title "I Miltown a Cúala Mé an Ceól." Francis O'Neill transposed Petrie's untitled 6/8 time setting of the air and renamed it "Will My Love be True?."
