WRAGG'S RONDO. English, Air or Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was likely composed by Jacob Wragg (fl.1800 - c.1840), whose wildly successful The Flute Preceptor, first published in 1792, was reprinted forty times until 1855. A number of Wragg's rondo parts were entered into the c. 1815 music manuscript of Rev. R. Harrison, Cumbria.
