Thomas Moore set his song "Oh! Doubt me not" to this air, published in his Irish Melodies, probably without giving Bunting credit as his source. The tune was collected by Edward Bunting (1773–1843) and appears in his 1809 collection as "Bhateur Buidhe agas an Sinnach." The verse only for the air is credited to Lynch.
