ZEPPELIN, THE. Scottish, Hornpipe. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). Composed during World War 1 (1914–1918) by J. Scott Skinner (1846–1927). A note at the bottom of the page of Skinner's piece, which is labelled a "Humourous Hornpipe," indicates: "The Audience clap their hands in imitation of the Allied Shots bringing down the Monster."
