JIMMY WHEELER. 1917-1987. A native and life-long resident of the Ohio River town Portsmouth, Ohio. A fiddler and instrument repairer, somewhat irascible. There is a very readable, intimate remembrance of Wheeler by Jeff Goehring at the Field Recorders Collective site [1].
