D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A very popular hornpipe melody that appears under a bewildering variety of titles in a number of genres. "Stage Hornpipe [4]" was entered into Book 1 of the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork Church of Ireland cleric and uilleann piper, wikipedia:James_Goodman_(musicologist) (1828-1896).
