IRISH LASSIE, THE. Irish, Air (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. The melody appears in Glasgow publisher James Aird's Selections of Scotch, English, Irish and Foreign Airs, vol. 3, 1788 (p. 228), and seems unique to that collection (until reprinted by Francis O'Neill).
