CAROLINA STOMPDOWN. AKA and see "Soldier’s Joy (1)." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, South Carolina. The tune, a retitling of the chestnut "Soldier's Joy (1)," was recorded by South Carolina's Aiken County String Band (in two different keys on the recording).
